I put in my application over a month ago. I cannot get in touch with anyone and not even a phone interview, email, and no letters in the mail. Calling the 877 number is a dead end. I had to go through tech support in order to get to where I could talk to a human. Unfortunately, she couldn’t help so she forward me to the office where the automated system said “they have reached the max number of callers and to try again later”, then they hang up. People need help and there is literally no one to talk to.
Never got a call back. The lines are too long. And they need to make and open multiple windows so that there are no long lines. I try and call back and no one answers the phone. Goes straight to voicemail.
I would like to file a complaint with the attorney general. I'm very grateful for all of the assistance that may be available, but the hardship, level of stress, and humiliation that this office puts you through, is absurd. You're force to submit all documnets and request on time, wihout so much a period or dash being missing, for them to turn around and treat you like trash. They do not answer their phone EVER! No matter how many countless hours you spend calling, they are never in the office, and when they are they send you right back to the computer and the phone. This matter and issue needs to be resolved, people are loosing their jobs just trying to get in touch with them and do things right.
I have been trying to get ahold of a live person for three days!! I am trying to do the right thing and report a change in income and residence. I can't even log onto their stupid website for some reason, it just tells me to call the office. Well that's great. But when the hell is somebody going to actually answer the phone?!? They do not even have a way to email them the information. Seriously?!?
How do these people still have a job? No-one wants to help you. They point you to a computer that barely works and tells you to figure out. I have paperwork they need and no-one wants to help. And don't bother calling the help desk the website tells you to, you can't get thru that either. Hopefully you don't need government assistance, because you won't get any help here..
